Due to issues with our sound system we were unable to record the service for November 20.
Below is a poem that was written by one of our members and was read during the service.
Dear Lord, I’m far too used to having my way, having control
That too easily I ignore the things that are a peril to my soul
Dear Lord, So often I choose the things that please me
When it’s heavenward I need to look to see what pleases Thee
Dear Lord, revival is needed at the very depths of my soul
But so hard it is for me to relinquish control
Dear Lord, new priorities are needed, right relationship to regain
So -- cleanse my heart and soul dear Lord from the sins that yet remain
Dear Lord, I give my life to you to cleanse and to restore
As I look towards that blessed coming day when we meet on the distant shore
Dear Lord, haste that special and precious day
Lest the sins and pleasures of this world draw me away
Dear Lord, what a day that will be when my Jesus I see
My precious Savior who loved enough to die on Calvary’s tree
Dear Lord, help me faithful be as I continue the struggle below
Until the day your blessed face I see and at last all of your promises know
Precious Lord, meanwhile the battle rages on as Satan seeks to conquer and divide
But we can and will trust you, dear Lord, until we reach the other side.
